Tata Nexon EV Max Launched In Nepal At Rs 46.49 Lakh

Tata Motors Nepal has launched the new Nexon EV Max in the Nepalese market at a starting price of Rs 46.49 lakh for the 7.2 kW charging option. The Nexon EV Max can also be purchased by making a 20% downpayment.

Equipped with a 40.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, the Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 453 km (under standard testing conditions). The Nexon EV MAX produces 95 kW of power and delivers an instant torque of 250 Nm, resulting in 0 to 100 sprint times in under 9 secs. The Nexon EV Max will get the same motor as the standard Nexon EV Prime due to the taxation policy for EVs above 100 kW.

The Nexon EV Max will be available with options of a 7.2 kW AC fast charger. The 7.2 kW AC fast charger can be installed either at home or at the workplace, which helps in reducing charging time to 6.5 hrs. Similarly, the Nexon EV Max will support a faster charging time of 0 - 80% in just 56 mins from any 50 kW DC fast charger.

The Nexon EV Max gets additional features over the standard Nexon EV. The features include a wireless smartphone charger, air purifier, multi-mode regen feature, electric sunroof, front leatherette ventilated seats, illuminated drive mode selector knob, cruise control, Harman infotainment system, auto-dimming IRVM, ESP with i-VBAC (intelligent – Vacuum-less Boost & Active Control), tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold and hill descent control, and disc brakes on all wheels, etc.The Nexon EV is the highest-selling electric SUV in Nepal with over 2000 units on the road. The Nexon EV Max will sit above the Nexon EV (Prime and Dark) in the Nepalese market. It will come in 3 colours– Intensi-Teal (exclusive to the Nexon EV MAX), Daytona Grey and Pristine White. Dual-tone body colour will be offered as a standard.
